Polyurea Nation is the world’s largest online community and information hub for polyurea coating professionals. Founded in 2014, we have grown into a thriving international network of over 4,200 certified applicators, chemical manufacturers, equipment suppliers, and industry educators spanning more than 38 countries.
Our mission is simple: to advance the global polyurea coatings industry through education, community, and advocacy. From residential deck protection to military-grade blast mitigation, polyurea is one of the most versatile high-performance coatings on earth—and Polyurea Nation is the go-to resource for everyone who works with it.

Marcus J. Hendricks
Executive Director & Founder
With over 22 years in the protective coatings industry, Marcus founded Polyurea Nation to create a centralized knowledge base that applicators everywhere could rely on. He is a certified SSPC instructor and has personally overseen more than 400 commercial polyurea projects across North America.
Sandra Kowalczyk, Ph.D.
Director of Technical Education
Dr. Kowalczyk holds a doctorate in polymer chemistry from Texas A&M University and has published more than 30 peer-reviewed articles on polyurea elastomer systems. She leads our curriculum development and oversees our certified training partnerships.
Devon Castillo
Director of Member Relations
Devon has been the backbone of our growing member community since 2018. He manages the applicator directory, oversees regional chapter coordination, and handles outreach for our annual national conference. Before joining Polyurea Nation, Devon managed field operations for a major spray rig manufacturer.
Riley Osei-Mensah
Digital Content & SEO Manager
Riley drives Polyurea Nation’s content strategy, ensuring that applicators and contractors can find reliable technical information when they need it. With a background in industrial engineering and digital marketing, Riley has helped grow site traffic by over 340% in three years.

Polyurea Nation is guided by a 12-member Regional Advisory Board, representing applicators and industry professionals from across North America, Europe, Latin America, and the Asia-Pacific region. Board members serve two-year terms and meet quarterly to shape the direction of our educational programs, certification standards, and member initiatives.
