Durability. Polyurea is an extremely tough material with a high level of thermal resistance, making it perfect for tough working conditions such as truck bed liners. Polyurea coatings can be safely used over a wide temperature range with some very specific, specialized formulations, without losing protective properties or its shape from -25 degrees Fahrenheit to 300 degrees Fahrenheit.
High impact resistance. The polyurea coating is formulated with a high level of an isocyanate (an isocyanate) component and a polyurethane (reinforced polyurethane) blend component. Because an isocyanate component can enhance the longevity and resilience of the coating, it is sometimes included in bedliners that don’t have other protective components such as stain guard. The polyurethane itself will keep most stains and spills from wearing away at the coating over time.
